How can the 1,000,000 Russian children classified by the government as orphans, many of whom have special challenges physically, emotionally and/or mentally be touched with the Gospel? Since 2002, under the direction of Rev. Karen Jones, a member of Christian Assembly, Niles, Ohio, LifeLine Missions International has been leading mission teams three or four times per year to serve in Orphanages, Shelters, Summer Camps and Adult Facilities in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Lomonozov, Peterhof, Murmansk, Chelyabinsk, Pushkin and Pavlovsk.

Being dedicated to changing the face of nations one heart at a time, LifeLine Missions International mobilizes, trains, deploys and provides pastoral administration to mission teams in the Youth Camps, Special Needs Children Homes, Orphanages and hospitals. Ministry is provided in many diverse ways that touch the felt needs of the children which leads to the sharing of the Gospel and transformed lives.

To assist orphans with special needs in becoming successful in life, plans are being completed to establish a mentoring program for orphan graduates in and around St. Petersburg. This will be a partnership effort with Love Russia and the Mir Foundation which is expected to be launched in June of 2011. This progressive program will help LifeLine to minister to special needs individuals from childhood through adulthood.
